Dr. Sabrina D. Black is the Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling and Coaching Center, LLC in Detroit, Michigan, a mental health facility that emphasizes spiritual values and holistic care. She has provided hope, help, and healing to individuals, families, and groups for over 30 years.

She has served as expert talent on several video-based training projects with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), including Race and Reconciliation, Grief and Loss, and Domestic Violence series. Many also recognize her from her impactful work on the highly acclaimed DivorceCare and GriefShare programs.

Dr. Black was the President of the National Biblical Counselors Association, Past President of BAACC, and a founding member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is the author of more than fifteen (15) books and workbooks, including “Live Right Now” and the newly released: “It’s NOT Okay.”

A national and international speaker for conferences, retreats, and workshops, Dr. Black delivers a dynamic message that addresses life’s struggles, temptations, and triumphs. Her teaching challenges others to confront the real issues of Christian living with courage and truth.

She is passionate about glorifying God, amplifying His Word, and edifying His people.

Humanitarian

Dr. Black is the founder of Global Projects for Hope, Help and Healing a non-profit 501c3 Missions Agency that has served on 5 of the 7 continents. Sabrina is a global humanitarian and a modern day abolitionist in the fight against Human Trafficking. Through her work over the past three decades in over 98 countries around the world she has touched and transformed lives with the Word of God and counseling resources; providing victim services, crisis counseling and trauma training as well as intervention. She is also an ambassador in partnership with Compassion International (a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate caring people with those suffering from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty).

Sabrina has been married 40 years to Warren Jose’ Black; they have one son, four grandchildren and two great grands. She loves movies, board games, musical theater, karaoke, books, adventure, travel and helping others. Sabrina has made a difference in the lives of people around the world.
